Finding the Serial Number on Mitsubishi M700 and M800 Controls

Note: This does not apply to machines with a custom HMI.

     I.    Access through the Maintenance screen

A.   From the operation panel

1.    Press the MAINTE button .

2.    Ensure that the Maintenance screen selection button is highlighted/selected .

3.    The NC Serial Number can be found in the upper right corner of the Maintenance screen (see below image).

 

B.   From a touch screen display

1.    Press the Mainte tab .

2.    Ensure that the Maintenance screen selection button is highlighted/selected .

3.    The NC Serial Number can be found in the upper right corner of the Maintenance screen (see below image).

 

    II.    Access through the Diagnosis screen

A.   From the operation panel

1.    Press the DIAGN button .

2.    Ensure that the H/W config screen selection button is highlighted/selected .

3.    The NC Serial Number can be found in the upper left corner of the Hardware Configuration screen (see image below).

B.   From a touch screen display

1.    Press the Diagn tab .

2.    At the bottom of the screen that appears, if the H/W config button  is not visible then press the Config button  to bring up the Configuration screen selections.

3.    Press the H/W config button .

4.    The NC Serial Number can be found in the upper left corner of the Hardware Configuration screen (see image below).

 

 

  III.    Label on NC Control Unit

A.   All Mitsubishi NC Control Units have a label on their cover (see image below) which lists the Model, Type and Serial Number.

 

1.    The following are images of different NC unit types showing their label location.
