Citizen M7 IP Address Configuration

The IP address is set through parameters on the Citizen M7 control.  The first step is to set the password enabling write permissions for the settings.

     1.    Setting the Password

A.   Press the MAINT. button  on the operation panel.

B.   Press the I/F Diag  softkey.

C.   On the I/F Diagnosis page type “1001//M”.

D.   Press [Input]. 


    2.    Locating the Global IP Address

A.   Press the PRM. button on the operation panel.

B.   Press the Menu SEL  softkey until you see the BAS COM.  softkey.

C.   Press the BAS COM.  softkey and then press the operation panel’s page down  button until you see parameter #1925.

i.    The controller’s Global IP Address is parameter #1926.


  3.   Configuration Settings

A.   Use the cursor buttons to move to and highlight the associated parameter

            1925 (Ethernet) - Set to 1, this enabled the Ethernet port.
            1926 (Global IP Address*) - Set the IP
            1927 (Global Subnet Mask*) - Set the Subnet Mask
            1928 (Global Gateway*) - Set the Default Gateway, if the DX Service will be on a different subnet

B.   Press [Input].

Notes

Note: Value changes for all parameters with an asterisk (*) do not take effect until the control’s power is turned off then on. The asterisk will always appear even when the value does not have pending changes.
