How do I Create a Dashboard?
Overview
To maximize the value of the data collected by DataXchange, viewing the data in Real Time is necessary to help everyone keep track of the shop floor. The Dashboards available in DataXchange will help keep track of everything going on with your equipment.
Dashboards in the RTV
The Real Time Viewer is a highly configurable dashboard builder available in the DataXchange Windows Application. Log into DataXchange and go to the RTV tab. To create a new dashboard for you to view, go to My Screens and click Add and Modify the Screens. To create a dashboard for multiple people to view, go to Group Screens and click Add and Modify the Screens. Screens can be copied from one section to the other at any time. A wide variety of dashboards can be configured. Frequently used views include the Equipment Status Summary, the Timeline Chart, and the Equipment Status Grid among many others. All of these can be displayed in conjunction with one another to display exactly the data you want to view.
Dashboards on the Web
To create a web based Real Time Dashboard, login to Data Display at
https://dx1.scytec.com/datadisplay. Available dashboards are found in the
Real Time section, including the
Real Time List and
Equipment View. The
Real Time List provides mostly text-based information in a grid format, while the
Equipment View displays detailed information about each machine in a card format.
